Circular No. (28/2026) To all banks operating in Palestine Date: Monday, March 16, 2026

Subject: Eid al-Fitr Holiday and Daylight Saving Time

On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, we are pleased to extend our sincerest congratulations and best wishes to you, and to all employees in the banking sector, praying to Almighty God that it returns to our Palestinian people with their wishes fulfilled in establishing the independent Palestinian state with its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif. Based on the provisions of Article No. (73) of the Banks Law No. 9 of 2010, and in consultation with the decisions of the respected Cabinet, the following has been decided:

• The Eid al-Fitr holiday begins on Thursday morning, March 19, 2026, and ends on Sunday evening, March 22, 2026, with banks resuming their official duties starting Monday morning, March 23, 2026.
• Daylight Saving Time in Palestine takes effect starting Saturday morning, March 28, 2026, by advancing the clock hands by (60) minutes.
