The Palestine Monetary Authority mandates that banks observe the Eid al-Fitr holiday from Thursday, March 19, 2026, through Sunday, March 22, 2026, with official operations resuming on Monday, March 23, 2026. Additionally, the authority requires all banks to implement Daylight Saving Time starting Saturday, March 28, 2026, by advancing clocks by 60 minutes.

Subject: Eid al-Fitr Holiday and Daylight Saving Time
On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, we are pleased to extend our sincerest congratulations and best wishes to you, and to all employees in the banking sector, praying to Almighty God that it returns to our Palestinian people with their wishes fulfilled in establishing the independent Palestinian state with its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif. Based on the provisions of Article No. (73) of the Banks Law No. 9 of 2010, and in consultation with the decisions of the respected Cabinet, the following has been decided:
