Circular No. 6/2026: Exchange Offices Operating During Ramadan
Exchange offices in Palestine must open for public transactions daily at 9:00 AM throughout Ramadan, resuming standard operating hours after the month concludes. This directive applies to all exchange offices operating in Palestine under the authority of the Palestine Monetary Authority.

Subject: Operating Hours of Exchange Offices During Ramadan
We congratulate you on the arrival of Ramadan, wishing that Almighty Allah grants you good health and well-being, and that he returns it to our people with the realization of their wishes for the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Based on the provisions of Law No. (40) of 2022 concerning the licensing and supervision of the exchange profession, it has been decided to open exchange offices to the public during the holy month starting at 9:00 AM for all working days, and operating hours will return to their previous state after the end of the holy month.
