The Palestine Monetary Authority requires all banks operating in Palestine to begin using the new electronic messaging gateway for official correspondence starting October 13, 2024. Banks must provide a single dedicated email address by October 9, 2024, and are invited to attend a demonstration on October 8, 2024. The gateway operates concurrently with existing communication methods until further notice.

Subject: Launch of the Messaging Gateway with the Palestine Monetary Authority
As part of the Palestine Monetary Authority's efforts towards digital transformation and the development of its operations and systems in accordance with global best practices and technological developments, an electronic gateway has been developed to exchange and receive correspondence between the Authority and the entities under its supervision.
Accordingly, you are requested to commit to using the gateway for this purpose by more than one employee on your side to ensure compliance with work requirements and continuity, effective from October 13, 2024.
We would like to emphasize the following:
We would like to note that the use of the gateway will be concurrent with the current communication mechanism until further notice.
