Circular on Draft Implementing Technical Standard on Supervisory Reporting regarding FINREP templates
The Malta Financial Services Authority issued a circular to credit institutions and branches regarding the Draft Implementing Technical Standard on Supervisory Reporting for FINREP templates. The document provides access to revised FINREP Individual and Consolidated templates along with instructions, noting that macro-enabled files must be converted to .xlsx format before submission. Submissions in any other format are explicitly rejected, and institutions can request specific template versions by contacting the designated MFSA representative.

The FINREP templates above are also available in macro-enabled format with a built-in ‘Find and replace’ feature. Institutions opting to utilise this feature can obtain this set of templates by contacting Ms C Porter on cporter@mfsa.com.mt . Please note that this set of templates is saved in .xlsm format. Prior to submitting this particular set through the MFSA web portal, reporting agents are requested to save files in .xlsx format. Submissions in any other format, will be rejected.
