Circular to Licensed Money Exchange Companies

Subject: Adoption of Email for Official Correspondence with the Central Bank of Jordan

Greetings,

With reference to the above subject, please be informed that the requirements for adopting email for the exchange of official correspondence between licensed money exchange companies and the Central Bank / Money Exchange Supervision Department are as follows:

1. Adoption by the money exchange company of an email address within a domain registered in its name and belonging to it.
2. Utilization of the Digital Signature feature to ensure the reliability of email messages exchanged between the money exchange company and the Central Bank of Jordan.

We emphasize the necessity for the money exchange company to continue applying and developing policies that maintain the security and integrity of electronic transactions and records.
