Circular on the Extension of Savings Account Linked Prizes
The Central Bank of Jordan extends the period for granting prizes linked to savings accounts until the end of 2023, maintaining the terms and controls of circular No. 3808/5/27. All banks operating in the Kingdom are required to obtain prior approval from the Central Bank before advertising or promoting any prizes linked to account types.

Circular to all banks operating in the Kingdom
Greetings,
With reference to our circular No. (3808/5/27) dated 10/3/2019 regarding "Prizes Linked to Savings Accounts" and circular No. (14218/3/27) dated 1/11/2020 regarding the extension of granting prizes until the end of 2021, we wish to inform you that the period for granting prizes linked to savings accounts has been extended until the end of 2023, under the same terms and controls stipulated in circular No. (3808/5/27) dated 10/3/2019. It is also mandatory for all banks to obtain prior approval from the Central Bank before proceeding to advertise and/or promote any of their prizes linked to all types of accounts.
