CIRCULAR LETTER: PI/MA/1/2006

RE: REGISTRAR'S DELEGATION TO ATTEND FUNDS' BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETINGS

In an attempt to effectively assess the impact of the medical aid funds industry as a whole and to enhance the regulatory authority's framework, the Registrar of Medical Aid Funds deems it necessary to visit all Funds' Board of Trustees meetings and to advise them of its envisaged activities and inter alia the role of NAMFISA over registered funds.

In light of the above, notice is hereby given that all funds that anticipate to hold their scheduled trustees meetings after the issuing of this notice, to advise the Registrar of their next board meetings in advance, in an order for the Registrar to take part in those trustee meetings.

We trust that you find the above in order and count on your continued cooperation.

Yours truly,

Marcelina Gaoses Deputy Registrar (Gen): Provident Institutions FOR REGISTRAR: MEDICAL AID FUNDS
