Part 2 of Circular Letter 5/2002 and the second paragraph of Part 3 of that circular are revoked and withdrawn with effect from 17 February 2014. Medical Aid Funds with administration fees deemed unreasonable by the Registrar must justify those fees to the Registrar.

SUBJECT: CIRCULAR ON COMPLIANCE CONDITIONS: HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATORS
This Circular is issued with reference to Part 2 of Circular Letter 5/2002, and the 2nd paragraph of Part 3 of Circular Letter 5/2002, dated 11 June 2002. The aforementioned parts of the Circular Letter provide for the supervision/regulation of healthcare administrators.
The Medical Aid Fund industry is herewith informed that Part 2 of Circular Letter 5/2002 and the 2nd paragraph of Part 3 of Circular Letter 5/2002 is hereby revoked and withdrawn with effect from the Effective date stated above.
Medical Aid Funds with administration fees which the Registrar deems to be unreasonable will be requested to justify such fees to the Registrar.
