Circular SGDB No. 018/2018: Quarterly Contribution to the Savings Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia debits the quarterly contribution to the Savings Protection Fund from the Current and Reserve Accounts of financial entities on April 16, 2018. The amount is calculated as 1.250 per thousand of the daily average public liabilities from the previous quarter, computed separately for national currency and foreign currency. Financial entities are required to ensure sufficient funds are available in their accounts to cover this debit.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Central Bank of Bolivia notifies financial entities that, pursuant to Article 518 of the Financial Services Law No. 393, it will debit the quarterly contribution (contribution by Financial Entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or their Reserve Account in National Currency and Foreign Currency, as applicable, on April 16, 2018.
The amount to be debited will be equivalent to one point two five zero per thousand (1.250/00) of the daily average of liabilities to the public from the previous quarter in each of the currencies (NC + UFV and FC + MVDOL), so we would appreciate it if you would make the respective provision of funds.
