Circular to All Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regarding Prior Approval for Promotional Offers
The Central Bank of Jordan mandates that all non-bank financial institutions under its supervision must obtain prior approval before advertising or promoting any awards offered to customers. This requirement is effective immediately and applies to all such institutions subject to the Central Bank's oversight. The directive enforces compliance with advertising controls for products, services, and awards previously issued under instruction No. (2025/1).

Greetings,
Continuing the Central Bank's efforts to regulate the granting of awards and consolidate the foundations of fair competition, and given the importance of enhancing principles of financial consumer protection, which include disclosure and transparency in dealings with customers, thereby contributing to strengthening their trust in the financial and banking sector, and following the instructions on advertising controls for products, services, and awards provided by financial and banking service providers No. (2025/1), it has been decided that you must obtain prior approval from the Central Bank before advertising and/or promoting any awards offered by you to customers, effective from this date.
