OBJECT: Revision of schedules and deadlines for horticulture loans.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia,
Having regard to Law No. 2016-35 of April 25, 2016, fixing the status of the Central Bank of Tunisia;
Having regard to Law No. 2016-48 of July 11, 2016, relating to banks and financial establishments, particularly Article 66 thereof;
Having regard to Circular No. 87-47 of December 23, 1987, relating to the conditions for granting, controlling, and refinancing loans, as amended and supplemented by subsequent texts;
Having regard to the opinion of the Compliance Control Committee No. 9 dated August 28, 2026, as provided for by Article 42 of Law No. 2016-35 of April 25, 2016, fixing the status of the Central Bank of Tunisia.
Decides:
Article 1 - The following is added to paragraph 'c' relating to the schedules and deadlines for horticulture loans appearing in Annex I to Circular No. 87-47 cited above:
- This schedule constitutes a ceiling. The amount of credit disbursed by the bank must be modulated according to the size of the operation, the expenses to be incurred, and the yields achieved during recent campaigns.
Article 2 - This circular enters into force from the date of its publication.
