Circular to Credit Information Companies in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
The Central Bank of Jordan requires credit information companies to coordinate with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to activate digital identity and document verification via the Sanduq application as a substitute for paper documents. These entities must immediately notify the Central Bank upon achieving full readiness to activate the service. Additionally, they are obligated to provide quarterly updates on the measures taken to implement this requirement.

In the context of the Central Bank of Jordan's efforts to enhance digital transformation and develop financial services infrastructure, we emphasize the necessity of taking all required measures in coordination with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to activate the digital identity and digital document verification service through the Sanduq application, and to accept it as a substitute for paper documents. In this regard, we note the necessity of informing us immediately upon completion and achieving full readiness to activate the aforementioned service, and providing us with quarterly updates on the measures taken by you in this regard.
