Circular to Licensed Financing Companies
The Central Bank of Jordan requires all licensed financing companies to activate the digital identity and document verification service via the Sandid application in coordination with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. This mandate applies to all company work locations, including headquarters and branches, and permits the use of the service as a substitute for paper documents. Companies must immediately notify the Central Bank upon achieving full readiness and provide quarterly updates on their implementation measures.

Greetings,
In the context of the Central Bank of Jordan's efforts to enhance digital transformation and develop financial services infrastructure, we emphasize to all licensed financing companies the necessity of taking all required measures in coordination with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to activate the digital identity and document verification service through the Sandid application and accept it as a substitute for paper documents. This applies to all company work locations, including the headquarters and all branches operating within the Kingdom.
We note in this regard the necessity of informing us immediately upon completion and achieving full readiness to activate the aforementioned service, and providing us with quarterly updates on the measures taken by you in this regard.
