Circular to Licensed Financing Companies on Digital Identity Verification
The Central Bank of Jordan mandates that all licensed financing companies activate the Sandeq application for digital identity and document verification across all operational sites. These entities must coordinate with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and accept the service as a substitute for paper documents. Upon achieving full readiness, companies are required to notify the Central Bank immediately and provide quarterly updates on their implementation measures.

Greetings,
As part of the Central Bank of Jordan's efforts to enhance digital transformation and develop financial services infrastructure, we emphasize that all licensed financing companies must take all necessary measures in coordination with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to activate the digital identity and document verification service through the Sandeq application and accept it as a substitute for paper documents, across all company operational sites including the headquarters and all branches operating within the Kingdom.
We further note the necessity of notifying us immediately upon completion and achieving full readiness to activate the aforementioned service, and providing us with quarterly updates on the measures taken in this regard.
