Circular to Licensed Money Exchange Companies Regarding Compliance Officers
The Central Bank of Jordan requires licensed money exchange companies to obtain its non-objection before terminating the services of any compliance officers or officials. This mandate applies in accordance with prevailing Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism instructions and ensures the independence of compliance officers during the execution of their duties.

Greetings,
Subject: Compliance Officers and Officials at Money Exchange Companies.
Following our previous circulars regarding the above subject, please be informed of the necessity to obtain the non-objection of the Central Bank of Jordan before terminating the services of any compliance officers or compliance officials at your company, in accordance with the proper procedures, and to comply with the provisions of the prevailing Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism instructions, including not affecting the independence of the compliance officer in any way during the execution of his duties.
