Circular Triq l-Imdina, Zone 1 Central Business District, Birkirkara CBD 1010 +356 2144 1155 communications@mfsa.mt www.mfsa.mt Circular to the Industry on the MFSA’s Survey on EU Sustainability Disclosures and Reporting – Submission Reminder With reference to the Circular issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority (‘MFSA’ or ‘Authority’) on 7 February 2024 regarding the rollout of a Survey on the EU Sustainability Disclosure and Reporting Regime, the MFSA would like to remind Stakeholders to submit their reply. The MFSA wishes to inform Stakeholders in this respect that to ensure maximum participation, the deadline for completing the survey has been extended to Wednesday, 13 March 2024. The Survey is being conducted by the MFSA to assess stakeholders’ experience and perspectives regarding the European Union Sustainability Disclosures and Reporting (EU SD&R) regime. The survey takes between 30 and 45 minutes to complete and is accessible here. Stakeholders are advised that participation in this Survey is essential as the Authority seeks to understand the current state of awareness, readiness, and challenges surrounding sustainable finance disclosure and reporting framework to be in a better position to guide markets in the implementation of various EU SD&R requirements. Accordingly, Stakeholders’ insights will directly inform our strategies and initiatives in this area. Stakeholders are reminded that this Survey is being carried out on an anonymous basis and will be administered by Deloitte Malta.
