Commencement of Application of the Remaining Provisions of the Quotation Regulation Amending the Market Abuse Regulation
The Slovenian Securities and Markets Authority (ATVP) announces that the remaining provisions of Regulation (EU) 2024/2809 on quotation entered into application on 5 June 2026, amending Article 17 of the Market Abuse Regulation to update public disclosure requirements for inside information. Issuers must familiarize themselves with the revised first, first-a, fourth, fourth-a, and seventh paragraphs of Article 17 of Regulation 2014/596. Detailed guidance on these amendments is published in the Explanations to the MAR Regulation (pages 104–108) and the ATVP’s December 2025 circular to public companies, Chapter 5.

The Securities and Markets Authority (ATVP) informs the public that the remaining provisions of Regulation (EU) 2024/2809 on quotation, which amend the text of Regulation (EU) 2014/596 on market abuse, have entered into application on 5 June 2026. The provisions of points 6(a), (b), (c) and (e) of Article 2 of the Quotation Regulation amend and supplement Article 17 of the Market Abuse Regulation, thereby updating the content of certain requirements regarding the disclosure of inside information to the public .
The ATVP calls on issuers to familiarize themselves with the current content of the first, first-a, fourth, fourth-a and seventh paragraphs of Article 17 of Regulation 2014/596. More detailed explanations regarding the significance of such amendments have been published in the document Explanations to the MAR Regulation (pp. 104–108), as well as in the Agency's December (2025) circular to public companies – Chapter 5 .
