Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/541 amending Delegated Regulations (EU) 2017/2358 and (EU) 2017/2359 as regards their dates of application
The European Commission amends Article 13 of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2358 and Article 20 of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2359 to align their application dates with the implementation deadline of Directive (EU) 2016/97. This change applies to insurance undertakings and insurance distributors regarding product oversight, governance, and conduct of business rules for insurance-based investment products. The regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
