Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2580 on regulatory technical standards for credit institution authorisation applications
The European Commission adopted Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2580 to supplement Directive 2013/36/EU by establishing regulatory technical standards for credit institution authorisation applications. The regulation mandates that applicants provide detailed information regarding their identity, history, programme of activities, financial projections, and governance structures to competent authorities. It also specifies the obstacles that may prevent the effective exercise of supervisory functions by these authorities. The act entered into force on 29 December 2022.
