Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2284 on supervisory reporting and disclosures of investment firms
The European Commission adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2284 to establish implementing technical standards for supervisory reporting and public disclosures by investment firms under Regulation (EU) 2019/2033. The regulation mandates that investment firms other than small and non-interconnected ones submit quarterly reports using specific templates, while small and non-interconnected firms submit annual reports. It also requires non-small firms to publicly disclose information on the composition and quality of their own funds using defined templates and precision standards. The regulation entered into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal on 22 December 2021.
