Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/941 on identifying unregistered vocational heavy-duty vehicles and correcting CO2 emissions
The European Commission establishes a procedure to identify heavy-duty vehicles certified as vocational but not registered as such, allowing competent authorities and manufacturers to provide clarifications within one month. If the Commission determines these vehicles should have been registered as vocational, it corrects the reported data and applies specific corrections to the manufacturer's annual average specific CO2 emissions using a defined formula. This regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
