Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2956 on standard templates for the register of information
The European Commission adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2956 to establish standard templates for the register of information required under Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 on digital operational resilience. Financial entities are mandated to use these templates to record all contractual arrangements with direct ICT third-party service providers and subcontractors supporting critical or important functions. The regulation specifies data quality principles, identification requirements using LEI or EUID, and ranking rules for the ICT service supply chain. It entered into force on 20 December 2024.
