Costs of applying for authorisation of an exchange institution

De Nederlandsche Bank charges a one-off application fee for processing authorisation requests from exchange institutions, regardless of whether the application is approved, rejected, or withdrawn. The specific amount for this fee is determined by the Regulation on the financing of financial supervision of one-off actions. Additionally, the regulator imposes an annual fee on exchange institutions to cover the costs of ongoing supervision.
