Cancellation of BSP Registration for BTI Courier Express Incorporated

CL-2026-____ To : ALL BANGKO SENTRAL NG PILIPINAS (BSP)-SUPERVISED FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Subject : Cancellation of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Registration as Remittance Agent with Money Changing/Foreign Exchange Dealing operations of BTI COURIER EXPRESS INCORPORATED The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 1096.A dated 06 November 2025, approved the cancellation of the BSP registration of BTI COURIER EXPRESS INCORPORATED to operate as Remittance Agent with Money Changing/Foreign Exchange Dealing operations, pursuant to Section 901-N (now Section 001-M) 1 of the Manual of Regulations for Non-Bank Financial Institutions (MORNBFI), in view of the: (a) serious and persistent violations of Section 601-N of the MORNBFI, in relation to Part 9 of Q Regulations of the MORNBFI and Republic Act No. 9160 (The Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001), as amended, and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations; and (b) serious violations of Section 901-N (now M-Regulations) of the MORNBFI, which include substantial non-compliance with the Deed of Undertaking.
