Circular CSSF 18/707: Minimum Requirements for Mortgage Bond Issuers
The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier issued Circular 18/707 to establish minimum requirements for banks issuing mortgage bonds. The regulation mandates strict management and control protocols for pledge registers, cover assets, and the limit of mortgage bonds in circulation. This circular repeals the previous Circular CSSF 03/95 to update regulatory standards for mortgage bond issuance.
