The OCC, Federal Reserve Board, and FDIC issued this supplemental rule to amend their Community Reinvestment Act regulations by extending the applicability date for facility-based assessment areas and public file provisions from April 1, 2024, to January 1, 2026. The agencies simultaneously adopt technical amendments that clarify transition provisions, update strategic plan requirements, and correct cross-references across their respective CRA regulations. This action also revises the OCC’s preamble analysis under the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act and becomes effective on April 1, 2024.
