Board of Directors Decision No. (147) for the year 2020 dated 16/9/2020

Regarding extending the deadline granted to the Founding Committee of the Egyptian Securities Union

The Board of Directors of the General Authority for Financial Supervision,

Having reviewed the Capital Market Law issued by Law No. (95) of 1992 and its executive regulations; And Law No. (10) of 2009 regulating supervision over non-banking financial markets and instruments; And Board of Directors Decision No. (20) of 2019 regarding the Bylaws of the Egyptian Securities Union; And after approval by the Board of Directors in its session held on 16/9/2020;

Has decided

(Article One)

The deadline granted to the Founding Committee referred to in Article (44) of the Bylaws of the Egyptian Securities Union to convene the first General Assembly of the Union is extended for an additional period of six months, effective from 18/9/2020.

(Article Two)

This Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette and on the Authority's website.
