Moving or Closing a Licensed Location Under the Deferred Presentment Services Act
The Alabama Bureau of Loans requires licensees under the Deferred Presentment Services Act to provide written notice to the Supervisor at least thirty days prior to changing or closing a licensed location. When relocating, licensees must post a front door announcement with the new address and submit certification with the original license for amendment. In the event of closure, licensees must display an announcement with contact details for other locations and submit similar certification documents to finalize the process.
