Providing SAMA with Audited Annual Financial Statements, the Quarterly Financial Statements, and the Prudential Data
The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) issued this circular to mandate licensed digital brokerage companies to submit quarterly and audited annual financial statements, along with prudential data templates, within specified working-day deadlines. The requirements stipulate that quarterly financial statements and audit reports be submitted within 20 working days following March, June, and September, while annual financial statements are due within 45 working days of year-end. Furthermore, quarterly and annual prudential data must be submitted electronically in Excel format with signed certification statements within 25 and 60 working days respectively, effective from the second quarter of 2025.

To: Respected Parties, Greetings,
Subject: Providing SAMA with Audited Annual Financial Statements, Quarterly Financial Statements, and Prudential Data.
Based on the powers granted to SAMA under relevant regulations and instructions, we wish to inform you that licensed digital brokerage companies are required to comply with the following:
First: Providing SAMA with quarterly financial statements and the audit report within (20) working days from the end of March, June, and September each Gregorian year.
Second: Providing SAMA with audited annual financial statements and the audit report within (45) working days from the end of the Gregorian year.
Third: Providing SAMA with annual and quarterly prudential data in accordance with the attached approved templates, verifying the accuracy of all data, and submitting them to SAMA within (25) working days from the end of March, June, and September for quarterly prudential data templates, and within (60) working days from the end of the Gregorian year for annual prudential data templates.
Fourth: The prudential data templates, once completed as required within the deadlines specified in Item (Third) above, shall be submitted electronically in (Excel) format, along with a scanned electronic copy of the Certification Statement for data accuracy, signed by the Chief Accountant and the CFO, and the CEO or Managing Director as applicable.
Fifth: The annual prudential data templates must be reviewed by the company's external auditor prior to submission to SAMA, and a signed copy of the audit certificate from the company's external auditor shall be attached with the templates.
