The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned Sudanese Rapid Support Forces commanders and multiple individuals and entities linked to the Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion for atrocities and timeshare fraud. OFAC added these actors to the Specially Designated Nationals List under Executive Orders targeting Sudan and illicit drug trafficking, while also updating identifiers for Kovay Gardens. Additionally, the agency issued Counter Terrorism General License 34 to authorize the wind down of transactions involving the sanctioned resort and updated designations for Russian and Iranian entities.
