Banking Forum Terms of Reference
The Council of Financial Regulators established the Banking Forum as a sub-committee to enhance efficiency and coordination in banking sector regulation. The forum comprises permanent members from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, The Treasury, the Financial Markets Authority, and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. It meets quarterly to discuss regulatory initiatives, identify areas for cross-agency cooperation, and address matters affecting financial intermediation.
