DCM Circular No. 05: Supplying adequate money and ensuring sufficient security of ATM booths during Eid-ul-fitr holidays
The Department of Currency Management of Bangladesh Bank advises all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to ensure adequate cash supply and overall security at ATM booths from July 1, 2016, to July 9, 2016. This measure is intended to allow customers uninterrupted and safe access to funds for daily and normal transactions during the government holidays declared for Eid-ul-fitr and Shab-e-Qadar, as well as the surrounding weekly holidays.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the provision of adequate money and ensuring overall security at ATM booths on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
Government holidays have been declared from 03/07/2016 to 07/07/2016 on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr and Shab-e-Qadar. Due to the weekly holidays on the two days immediately preceding (01/07/2016 and 02/07/2016) and the two days following (08/07/2016 and 09/07/2016), it is advised to ensure adequate cash supply at ATM booths and overall security of the booths from 01/07/2016 to 09/07/2016. This is to enable customers to withdraw money continuously and safely from the bank's ATM booths for the convenience of their daily and normal transactions.
