Subject: Regarding the return of damaged and old 1000/- Taka notes.
The Department of Currency Management and Printing Services (DCMPS) has been instructed to return the damaged and old 1000/- Taka notes held by the Bangladesh Bank. This instruction is based on the circulars dated 03/08/1987 (Ref: 860/23(DCMPS)-87) and 11/08/2003 (Ref: 23(DCMPS)/2003-457-G) issued by the Department of Currency Management and Printing Services.
The Department of Currency Management and Printing Services is hereby instructed to ensure the proper return of the damaged and old 1000/- Taka notes in accordance with the aforementioned circulars.
