DECREE No. 2014-1684 of October 29, 2014 Appointing the Governor of the Central Bank of Madagascar

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC Having regard to the Constitution; Having regard to Law No. 94-004 of June 10, 1994 on the Statutes of the Central Bank of Madagascar; Having regard to Decree No. 2014-200 of April 11, 2014 appointing the Prime Minister, Head of Government; Having regard to Decree No. 2014-235 of April 18, 2014 amended by Decree No. 2014-1659 of October 22, 2014 appointing the members of the Government;

Upon submission by the Minister of Finance and Budget, IN COUNCIL OF MINISTERS, DECREES:

Article 1: The provisions of Decree No. 2013-777 of October 16, 2013, appointing the Governor of the Central Bank of Madagascar on an interim basis, are hereby repealed and remain repealed. Article 2: Mr. Alain Hervé RASOLOFONDRAIBE is appointed Governor of the Central Bank of Madagascar. Article 3: Due to urgency and in accordance with Articles 4 and 6 of Ordinance No. 62-041 of September 19, 1962 on general provisions of domestic law and private international law, this Decree shall enter into force immediately upon its publication by radio and/or television broadcast or posting, independently of its insertion in the Official Journal of the Republic. Article 4: The Minister of Finance and Budget is responsible, within his area of competence, for the execution of this Decree, which shall be registered and published in the Official Journal of the Republic.
