The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is reopening the comment periods for its proposed rules on speculative position limits and position aggregation for an additional 45 days. This action follows a December 9, 2014, Agricultural Advisory Committee meeting to allow stakeholders sufficient time to respond to questions regarding deliverable supply estimates and bona fide hedging exemptions. The new comment period closes on January 22, 2015, and is limited to issues pertaining to agricultural commodities.
