Decision Amending the Decision on Minimum Value of Payment Transactions to be Processed in RTGS System
Article 3 of the Decision on Minimum Value of Payment Transactions to be Processed in RTGS System is amended to allow payment transactions below EUR 3,000.00 initiated by the payee to be executed in the RTGS system upon the payee’s request. This regulation applies to payment transactions processed within the Real-Time Gross Settlement system. The decision enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro.
Pursuant to Article 44 paragraph (2) item 3) of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 6/13, 70/17, 125/23) and Article 159 paragraph (2) of the Payment System Law (OGM 62/13, 111/22, 15/25, 140/25, 103/26), the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro, at its meeting held on 17 July 2026, passed the following DECISION Amending the Decision on Minimum Value of Payment Transactions to be Processed in RTGS System Article 1 In the Decision on Minimum Value of Payment Transactions to be Processed in RTGS System (OGM 48/14, 65/26, 72/26) Article 3 shall be amended to read: “Payment transactions in the amount lower than EUR 3,000.00 initiated by the payee may be executed in the RTGS system, upon the payee’s request.”. Article 2 This Decision shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the “Official Gazette of Montenegro”.
