Article 5 of the Decision on Establishing Main Units of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina is amended to define the operational regions for the bank's main units. The Sarajevo unit covers cantons 2, 3, 4, 5, and 9; the Mostar unit covers cantons 1, 6, 7, 8, and 10; and the Main Bank of the Republika Srpska covers the Republika Srpska region. The decision entered into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pursuant to Article 1, paragraphs 3 and 4, Article 7, item i, and Article 74, item i of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", No. 1/97), the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina at its 3rd meeting held on 22 February 2001 adopts
DECISION on amendment of the Decision on establishing the main units of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Article 1.
In the Decision on establishing the main units of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", Nos. 7/98 and 3/99), Article 5 is amended and reads:
"The main units of the Central Bank open and maintain bank reserve accounts and depositor-client accounts, depending on the region in which the bank or depositor-client is headquartered, and they carry out their obligations and tasks from Article 4 of this Decision as follows: a) Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Main Unit Sarajevo in the region covering the cantons: 2., 3., 4., 5. and 9.
b) Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Main Unit Mostar in the region covering the cantons: 1., 6., 7., 8. and 10.
c) Main Bank of the Republika Srpska of the Central Bank of BiH in the region of the Republika Srpska.
The territory of cantons consists of municipalities and parts of municipalities and are designated by numbers, in accordance with the Law on Federal Units (cantons) – ("Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", Nos. 9/96 and 14/97).".
Article 2.
This Decision shall enter into force on the day of publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH", and shall also be published in the "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH" and the "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska".
