Decision on the Issuance of Convertible Mark Coins in Denominations of 5, 10, 20, and 50 Feninga and 1 Convertible Mark

Based on Article 2, paragraph 3, item h, Article 7, item e, Article 39, and Article 42 of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH" numbers: 1/97, 29/02, 13/03, 14/03, 09/05, 76/06, and 32/07), in accordance with the Policy on the Production of Banknotes and Coins of the Convertible Mark, POV. 100-UV number: 107/12 dated November 1, 2012, POV. UV-122-01-1-21/15 RJ dated March 31, 2015, UV-122-01-1123/15 SD dated November 23, 2015, and UV-122-01-1-43/16 SD dated June 23, 2016, and the Decision on the Plan for the Issuance of Coins of the Convertible Mark in Denominations of 5, 10, 20, and 50 Feninga and 1 Convertible Mark, UV-122-01-1-37/17 LjJ dated March 29, 2017, the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 6th session held on March 29, 2017, adopts

DECISION on the Issuance of Coins of the Convertible Mark in Denominations of 5, 10, 20, and 50 Feninga and 1 Convertible Mark

Article 1. The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued coins of the Convertible Mark (hereinafter: KM coins) in denominations of 5, 10, 20, and 50 feninga and 1 convertible mark, issue 2017, in accordance with the Decision of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, UV-122-01-1-32/16 SM dated May 30, 2016.

Article 2.

The KM coins referred to in Article 1 of this Decision have basic characteristics and design as determined in decisions, as follows:

a) Decision on the Issuance, Basic Characteristics, and Circulation of Coins of 10, 20, and 50 Feninga ("Official Gazette of BiH", 24/98 and 25/98),

b) Decision on the Issuance, Basic Characteristics, and Circulation of Coins of 1 and 2 Convertible Marks ("Official Gazette of BiH", 20/00), c) Decision on the Issuance, Basic Characteristics, and Circulation of Coins in Denominations of 5 Convertible Marks and 5 Feninga ("Official Gazette of BiH", 92/05).

Article 3. The KM coins referred to in the preceding Article of this Decision are minted with the issue year "2017".

Article 4. The KM coins from this Decision, under the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all public and private institutions and establishments, legal and natural persons are obliged to accept at their nominal value as legal tender, when offered in cash transactions, or in settlement and payment of any obligations towards them, throughout the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Article 5. Upon entry into force of this Decision, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, through the Central Office, main units, and branches, put the KM coins from this Decision into circulation successively, in accordance with the inventory of KM coin stocks and the plan for the issuance of KM coins into circulation.

Article 6. This Decision enters into force on the day of publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH", and shall also be published in the "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", and "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
