Instruction No. 10/2022, August 25 – Payment System: Brand of the Instant Transfer System Arrangement
The National Bank of Angola, through Instruction No. 10/2022, establishes the "KWiK" brand and "Kwanza Instant" signature for its Instant Transfer System (STI) payment arrangement, designating EMIS as the responsible entity tasked with defining and enforcing branding rules. The Instruction mandates that payment service providers comply with the STI Arrangement Regulations and Brand Identity Manual within 90 days of publication, while requiring EMIS to submit the finalized manuals and regulations for regulatory approval within 30 days. Non-compliance with these branding, operational, and transitional provisions constitutes a punishable infraction under Angola's Payment System and Financial Institutions Laws.
