DFIM Circular Letter No. 02: Closing of Financial Institutions on 16/01/2014 due to Re-polling in 10th National Parliamentary Election
All financial institutions located in specific electoral areas must remain closed on Thursday, January 16, 2014, to facilitate voting and re-polling at halted centers during the 10th National Parliamentary Election. This closure applies to institutions in Dinajpur (Constituency 4), Kurigram (Constituency 4), Gaibandha (Constituencies 1, 3, and 4), Bogra (Constituency 7), Jessore (Constituency 5), and Lakshmipur (Constituency 1). The directive is issued pursuant to a memorandum from the Ministry of Public Administration dated January 15, 2014.

Dear Sir,
Subject: Closing of Financial Institutions on 16/01/2014 (Thursday) due to re-polling of some halted centers of 10th National Parliamentary Election.
In this context, please be informed that through Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.12-10 dated January 15, 2014, of the Ministry of Public Administration, the date for re-polling at halted/declared halted voting centers in the 10th National Parliamentary Election has been set as Thursday, January 16, 2014. To enable employees/staff working in financial institutions to exercise their voting rights and facilitate voting, the operations of the following financial institutions located in the specified electoral areas shall remain closed:
