DFIM Circular Letter No. 03: Office Time schedule for Ramadan, Hijri-1439(2018)
The Department of Financial Institutions and Markets of Bangladesh Bank establishes the office hours for financial institutions during the holy month of Ramadan 1439 AH (2018 AD) in accordance with government directives. Offices are open from Sunday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, including a break for Zuhr prayer from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM, while Friday and Saturday remain weekly holidays. Normal office hours will resume immediately after the conclusion of Ramadan.

In accordance with the instructions of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Ministry of Public Administration, Rule-4 Branch, Memo No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.18-92 dated 10/05/2018, the office time schedule for financial institutions during the holy month of Ramadan, Hijri-1439 (2018 AD) is determined as follows:
Working Days Office Time Schedule Sunday to Thursday 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM (including break for Zuhr prayer from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM) Friday, Saturday Weekly Holiday
After the holy month of Ramadan is over, the office time schedule of financial institutions will return to pre-Ramadan hours.
