DFIM Circular Letter No. 05: Announcement of Holiday for FIs at Rangpur due to Rangpur City Corporation Election on 21 December 2017
All branches of non-banking financial institutions located within the electoral area of the Rangpur City Corporation general election are required to remain closed on Thursday, 21 December 2017. This closure is mandated to facilitate the exercise of voting rights and the voting process for employees and officers of these institutions, in accordance with a memorandum from the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives dated 19 December 2017.

Dear Sir,
Subject: Closure of Non-Banking Financial Institutions on Thursday, 21 December 2017 on the occasion of the General Election of Rangpur City Corporation.
In light of the Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.12-246 dated 19 December 2017 from the Rules-4 Branch of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, regarding the facilitation of voting rights and voting for employees/officers of Non-Banking Financial Institutions on the occasion of the General Election of Rangpur City Corporation, all branches of Non-Banking Financial Institutions located within the electoral area concerned will remain closed on Thursday, 21 December 2017.
