Financial institutions must close all operations in specific electoral areas during the fourth phase election on March 23, 2014, and the fifth phase election on March 31, 2014. This closure is required to facilitate voter registration and voting for employees located in the constituencies listed in the annexures. Dear Sir,
Regarding the closing of financial institutions for the 4th Upazila Election.
In this regard, a general holiday has been declared in the relevant electoral areas according to the schedule below for the 4th Upazila Election through Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.004.11-72 dated March 16, 2014, of the Ministry of Public Administration. In light of this, to facilitate the exercise of voting rights and voting by employees/staff working in financial institutions, all activities of financial institutions located in the relevant electoral areas (as per Annexure) will remain closed:
