Subject: Closure of Financial Institution Branches in the Gazipur City Corporation Election Areas on Tuesday, 26 June 2018.

Dear Sir,

With reference to the above subject, a general holiday during the election period has been declared in the concerned election areas on Tuesday, 26 June 2018, to facilitate the exercise of voting rights and the voting process for government officials and employees, through Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.002.18.111 dated 20 June 2018 from the Legislation-4 Branch, Legislation Division, Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, regarding the general election of Gazipur City Corporation.

In this context, all branches of financial institutions operating in the aforementioned election areas will remain closed.
