DFIM Circular Letter No. 06: Holiday for the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr on 03 April 2025
All finance companies operating in Bangladesh are required to remain closed on Thursday, 03 April 2025, as a government holiday declared for Eid ul-Fitr. This directive is issued pursuant to Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Company Act, 2023, referencing an official notification from the Ministry of Public Administration dated 23 March 2025.

Regarding the holiday on Thursday, 03 April 2025, on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.

With reference to the above subject, your attention is drawn to the Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.006.23-231 (copy enclosed) dated 23 March 2025 of Rule-4 Branch, Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

In accordance with the aforementioned notification, it has been officially announced by the government that Thursday, 03 April 2025, is a government holiday on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Therefore, all finance companies operating in Bangladesh will remain closed on Thursday, 03 April 2025.

This instruction is issued under the authority granted in Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Company Act, 2023.
