All financial institutions operating in Bangladesh are required to remain closed on Monday, April 22, 2019, in observance of the holy occasion of Shab-e-Barat. This closure replaces the originally scheduled holiday on Sunday, April 21, 2019, in accordance with a memorandum from the Ministry of Public Administration and a previous circular from the Department of Financial Institutions Management.

Dear Sir,
With reference to the above subject and in connection with the holy occasion of Shab-e-Barat, attention is invited to DFIM Circular Letter No. 10 dated 04 December, 2018 of this department on the subject.
According to Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.003.18-228 dated 14 November, 2018 of the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, and DFIM Circular No. 10 dated 04 December, 2018 of this department, regarding the holy occasion of Shab-e-Barat, all financial institutions operating in Bangladesh will remain closed on Monday, 22 April, 2019, instead of the originally scheduled Sunday, 21 April, 2019.
