DFIM Circular Letter No. 08: Finance companies will remain closed in the area of Rangamati, Khagrachari & Bandarban District on 13th April 2025 due to Chaitra Sankranti
All branches and booths of finance companies located in the Rangamati, Khagrachari, and Bandarban districts must remain closed on Sunday, 13 April 2025. This closure is mandated by a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration regarding a general holiday for Chaitra Sankranti. The directive is issued under the authority granted by Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Company Act, 2023.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the declaration of a general holiday by executive order on Sunday, 13 April 2025, in three specific districts (Rangamati, Khagrachari, and Bandarban districts) on the occasion of the upcoming Chaitra Sankranti.
In accordance with Notification Number-05.00.0000.173.08.006.23-233 dated 27 March 2025 of the Ministry of Public Administration, all branches/booths of finance companies located in the three specified districts (Rangamati, Khagrachari, and Bandarban districts) shall remain closed on Sunday, 13 April 2025 on the occasion of Chaitra Sankranti.
- In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Company Act, 2023, this instruction is hereby issued.
