Dear Sir,
Subject: Keeping Financial Institutions closed in the relevant election area on Monday, 24 June 2019, in connection with the election for the 41 Bogura-6 constituency of the National Parliament and the by-election for the vacant post of Mayor of Habiganj Paurashava.
In light of the notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.002.12-124 dated 23 June, 2019, issued by the Legislation and Sub-legislation Division of the Ministry of Local Government, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, regarding the election for the 41 Bogura-6 constituency of the National Parliament and the by-election for the vacant post of Mayor of Habiganj Paurashava, all Financial Institutions located in the relevant election area, including their regional offices, shall remain closed on Monday, 24 June, 2019. This is to facilitate the exercise of voting rights and the voting process by the employees/officers working in the Financial Institutions.
