DFIM Circular Letter No. 11: Finance Companies to Remain Open/Closed During Eid-Ul-Adha 2026
Finance companies in Bangladesh must keep all business centers, branches, and booths closed from Monday, May 25, 2026, through Sunday, May 31, 2026, and open on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, for Eid-Ul-Adha 2026. This directive is issued pursuant to Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.000.173.08.020.25.44 (copy attached) dated May 14, 2026, from the Ministry of Public Administration of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The order is promulgated under the authority granted by Section 41(2)(g) of the Finance Companies Act, 2023.

Dear Sir,
With reference to the closure of offices from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Sunday, May 31, 2026, and the opening of offices on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-Ul-Adha, 2026.
In accordance with Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.000.173.08.020.25.44 (copy attached) dated May 14, 2026, from the Ministry of Public Administration of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, all business centers, branches, and booths of finance companies will remain closed from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Sunday, May 31, 2026, and open on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-Ul-Adha, 2026.
- This directive is issued under the powers conferred by Section 41(2)(g) of the Finance Companies Act, 2023.
