DFIM Circular Letter No. 19: Re-fixation of holiday for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S)

The Department of Financial Institutions and Markets (DFIM) of Bangladesh Bank re-fixes the public holiday for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi from Friday, 5 September 2025 to Saturday, 6 September 2025. This change is based on the decision of the National Moon Sighting Committee and supersedes the previous notification issued in DFIM Circular Letter No. 34 dated 17 November 2024. The directive applies to all finance companies operating in Bangladesh.

Now, in accordance with the decision of the National Moon Sighting Committee, the holiday declared for the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S) on Friday, 05 September 2025 has been re-fixed to Saturday, 06 September 2025.
